At Firefly, we are looking for a seasoned VP Marketing to own and lead our entire marketing function. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of pipeline, product narrative, and market education. You will define how we show up in market, build and scale a world-class global team, and partner directly with Sales, Product, and the executive team to drive aggressive growth.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience marketing complex B2B infrastructure products - across cybersecurity, cloud platforms, developer tools, or adjacent categories and thrives in the fast-paced environment of a high-growth startup.


Responsibilities

Demand Generation

  • Design and execute multi-channel demand gen programs (paid, SEO, email, events, ABM) that fill and accelerate the pipeline
  • Own MQL/SQL targets and key funnel metrics in close partnership with Sales, continuously optimizing performance through data-driven experimentation

Product Marketing

  • Own positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation across the product portfolio
  • Lead go-to-market strategy for new product launches and market expansions
  • Translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions and equip Sales with battle cards, pitch decks, and ROI tools that win deals

Content Strategy

  • Set and drive content strategy across the full funnel - whitepapers, blogs, case studies, webinars, and video
  • Ensure consistency of voice, brand standards, and messaging across all channels

Field Marketing

  • Own the events and field marketing calendar - industry conferences, executive roundtables, customer summits
  • Drive regional pipeline programs with field sales, and manage sponsorships and partner activations to maximize ROI

Thought Leadership

  • Shape the company's presence and credibility in the B2B infrastructure ecosystem through speaking engagements, media, and industry publications
  • Develop and own our category narrative and long-term brand positioning

Team Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team across Israel and the US, cultivating a culture of ownership and creativity
  • Manage the marketing budget with a strong ROI mindset and clear accountability

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
  • Domain expertise in B2B infrastructure — cybersecurity, cloud, developer tools, DevOps, or data infrastructure
  • Proven track record of building and scaling demand gen programs that directly impact revenue
  • Deep product marketing skills: you can translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives
  • Hands-on experience running field marketing and events programs at scale
  • Track record of building thought leadership programs that move markets
  • Strong analytical mindset - you're comfortable in dashboards and can tie every initiative to business outcomes
  • Proven experience adopting and leading AI-driven marketing practices - leveraging AI tools for content creation, campaign optimization, and workflow automation, and building an AI-first culture within the marketing team
  • Experience hiring and developing marketing teams from the ground up
  • Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator; comfortable presenting to executives and board


Advantages

  • Experience at a startup scaling from early-stage to Series B or beyond
  • Background in or strong familiarity with the CISO/DevSecOps/platform engineering buyer
  • Familiarity with marketing tech stacks: HubSpot or similar
  • Prior experience defining and owning a new product category
