Platform Engineer

We’re looking for a talented Automation Engineer to join our R&D group. As an integral part of the team, you will play a key role in enhancing and scaling our automation infrastructure, bringing Firefly's automation framework to the next level. Your responsibilities will include designing automated tests to ensure optimal product quality and health, identifying and troubleshooting bugs, and closely collaborating with our software design and platform teams.

In this unique R&D role, you will be at the forefront of our next-generation cloud-based solutions, taking on challenges related to performance, scalability, and availability in multi-cloud environments. You will work with cutting-edge services and tools, driving innovation across our systems and development lifecycle. • At least 3 years of experience in Python within an Automation framework.
• Self-driven and responsible, with a “can-do” attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication abilities.
• Significant experience in developing and utilizing automated testing frameworks and optimizing for scalability and performance in testing environments.
• Previous experience in a SaaS company, with a strong understanding of cloud-based testing needs.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and technologies like Terraform and Helm Chart—an advantage.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Elasticsearch)—an advantage.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture and modern system design principles—experience with AWS or GCP preferred.
